As regards to animal wildlife you can find exotic species like the red deer (ciervo colorado) and a wide variety of indigenous birds such as "huet-huet", "chucao", "loica", the giant woodpecker, "cauquen real", "cachana" and "chuncho".

From the lodge you can go sightseeing and get to the quaint little town of Aluminé and other tourist sites like Aluminé Lake near which lies Villa Pehuenia; the impressive "Batea Mahuida" volcano where you can ski in winter; Moquehue Lake, a mirror of crystal clear water.

Continuing your tour you will find the lakes "Norquinco", "Pilhue", "Nonpehuen", "Polcahue", "Pulmarí" and "de los Giles" lagoon.

Our resort is located in the province of Neuquén, northwest of Patagonia. Bordering to the southwest with Lanín National Park you can see several snow capped mountains, vast valleys surrounded by streams, rivers, lakes and lagoons.

There is also an abundant vegetation of "ñires", cypresses, "lengas" and "maitenes". This spectacular landscape is only surpassed by the unique and beautiful araucaria woods called "Pehuen".
